Census 2020 Workshop


Carson Accountability and Transparency is proud to host a free workshop with California Complete Count on the importance of the 2020 U.S. Census. Join us Feb. 8 at the Carson Community Center, 801 E. Carson St. for an interactive workshop from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and have your questions about the 2020 Census answered by qualified representatives. Register at carsoncat.org/MEOW


Volunteers Needed for Homeless Count


Los Angeles County needs volunteers to help count the homeless population. The event will begin with a training overview at 8 p.m. on Jan. 22, 2020 at the Carson Community Center, 3 Civic Plaza Dr. All volunteers need to be at least 18 years old and can register at theycountwillyou.org/volunteer. Free Walk-in Clinics on Housing


Do you have questions about fair housing, rent increases, repairs, evictions, notices? Residents are invited to free Housing Walk-In Clinics every 1st Thursday and 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Carson Senior Center, 801 E. Carson St.


U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Now At Carson


The Carson City Clerk’s Office is proud to announce its partnership with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Representatives from USCIS will be at City Hall every 2nd Thursday of the month from 2-4p.m. No appointments needed.
